Within the context of the celebration of Cuba´s National Science Day in Santiago de Cuba, Sunday, January 14th, 2018, important personsattending the event, visited the heritage cemetery of this city to pay tribute to the Founding Fathers of the Cuban Revolution.
Afterwards, the guests took part in the tour through the history of deceased outstanding scientists from Santiago and whose mortal remains are laid to rest in this graveyard. One of the mausoleums visited, was that of the Ruiz Miyares family; where CITMA First Deputy Minister, PhD. Fernando González Bermúdez paid posthumous tribute to Eloina Miyares Bermúdez, PhD, founder of the CLA.
