La introducci\u00f3n de este resultado en todas las filiales provinciales de la Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional del Ciego (ANCI) mediante una caravana cient\u00edfica que llevar\u00e1 a cabo el CLA por todo el pa\u00eds contribuir\u00e1 a un mayor conocimiento de la lengua materna por parte de las personas con deficiencias visuales y, por consiguiente, a su superaci\u00f3n cultural. It aims at describing and explaining functions of the intonation system and intonation rules of the geographical variant of language spoken in the said region. This is the first approach to this subject based on the use of instrumental means. They provide and describe in order definitions and forms of use of words. Some time ago, lexicographers used text editors to edit dictionaries. These text editors were inappropriate tools to successfully achieve this goal. In recent years, significant changes have been introduced in lexicology as a result of the creation of all kinds of computer applications. The Centre for Applied Linguistics and the University of the Basque Country have jointly created a system to produce the Diccionario B\u00e1sico Escolar. It is aimed at analyzing Cuban schoolchildren\u2019s vocabulary and how they use words, especially content words \u2014nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs\u2014, while studying other classes of words as well as phrases and compound lexies in children\u2019s vocabulary. The sample consisted of 700,000 words selected from 7,000 (oral and written) compositions on different topics, written by second to sixth grade male and female students from urban and rural areas in ten Cuban provinces. All words in these texts were functionally coded, and spelling mistakes were marked using a special code for future didactic work. This innovative and effective work is based on three solid scientific principles: linguistic, psychological and pedagogical. The book contains paragraphs from the <em>Cuadernos Martianos<\/em> and from textbooks used in seventh, eighth and ninth grades. The words under study are extracted from those paragraphs. In addition to the characteristics of primary education methodology, this book includes the etymology of many of the selected words.
