On Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Congress Palace of Havana was awared with the Order "Carlos J. Finlay" the outstanding professor and researcher from the Natural Language Processing Group, IXA, from the University of the Basque Country, Dr. Xabier Artola Zubillaga, who for more than 20 years collaborates with the Center for Linguistics Applied, mainly, in the creation of versions printed and electronic from the renowned Basic School Dictionary.
